Treatment Overview

Treatment options available to patients with primary hyperhidrosis can be categorized as:
 
1) Non-surgical such as: topical antiperspirants, iontophoresis, topical anticholinergic cloths and gel, targeted alkali thermolysis delivered via an in-office, 3-minute-application patch, and systemic medications.  Update as of June 2025: Targeted alkali thermolysis may not be available at this time, as the company behind the treatment (Candesant Biomedical) is currently in the process of being sold, and access to this product is therefore impacted.  (We invite you to explore our webinars on
