Expanding Global Hyperhidrosis Awareness, Best Practices & Collaboration

Whether you’re a dermatologist, dermatology resident, medical student interested in dermatology, dermatology nurse, or invested member of industry, we’re looking forward to seeing you in Madrid, Spain, for the 28th Annual European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress. This pivotal event will bring together 12,000 dermatology professionals from 100 countries for more than 180 educational sessions with 750 lecturers. 

As part of our mission to increase hyperhidrosis (Hh) awareness around the world, to further relationships with Hh researchers and innovators across borders, and to continue to exchange information, ideas and practices globally that raise the bar in Hh care, the International Hyperhidrosis Society will have a multi-pronged initiative at this year’s EADV. The International Hyperhidrosis Society will conduct a four-hour Subspecialty Society meeting on 9 October 2019 called: 

Hyperhidrosis: Comprehensive Review and Updates for

Best Practices and Optimized Outcomes.

Talks will be presented by International Hyperhidrosis Society co-founders and Board of Directors members Dee Anna Glaser, MD, David M. Pariser, MD and Lisa J. Pieretti, MBA as well as Carl Swartling, MD, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Medical Sciences, Dermatology and Venereology, Uppsala University, Sweden. Dr. Swartling has been treating hyperhidrosis patients for more than 20 years and is an expert in multifocal Hh, treating large areas with a combination of botulinum toxin type A and B, and more.
