IHHS BLMBlack Lives Matter

To Our Community,

The International Hyperhidrosis Society condemns the actions of the killers of George Floyd, as well as all those involved in the deaths of Ahmaud Abert, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Philando Castile, Sandra Bland, Freddie Gray, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Rodney King, and the many others who have lost their lives and experienced great harm as part of the suffering inflicted upon Black and other allies of color over generations upon generations around the world.

We also firmly condemn the daily, race-based systemic violence and injustices that members of communities of color face from pre-birth onward. Indeed we hold that hatred, prejudice and racism can be blamed for harmful inequalities around the globe. This represents a public health emergency and we join with others as we call for true equality of care, justice and opportunity.

IHhS stands with protestors all over the world who are peacefully demanding accountability for police brutality and systems that perpetuate unfair advantages for some and profound disadvantages for many. We are with you in acknowledging and striving to dismantle both overt and subtle racist ideologies and policies so we can build societies where all can thrive.

We know that many of you are already taking actions to be part of the solution on the streets, online and in your homes. As you do so, we hope you are safe, seen, heard, respected, and welcomed, wherever you go.

We reaffirm, unequivocally: Black Lives Matter.

In Solidarity,
International Hyperhidrosis Society
